stop pitching into the void

We get ambitious early stage founders investment ready, on the right route, in front of the right investors.

You're not un-fundable. You're un-ready.

Raising shouldn't be a mystery. It's a process.

Most founders open a round the same way. Build a deck, scrape a list of every VC on the internet, send a hundred cold emails, get four replies and no cheques. Six months later the round is stale, the numbers are out of date, and the story has changed three times.

The problem usually is not the company. It is that nobody told you which money was realistic for you, what investors on that route actually want to see, or that half the funds you emailed do not write cheques at your stage at all.

Put down the cold list. Stop rewriting the deck for the ninth time. There is a way to do this properly, and it starts with knowing whose money you are actually going after.

WHO THIS IS FOR

Ambition isn’t enough. Let’s make you fundable.

If you're reading this thinking "that's me", it probably is.

  • You have a product live and people using it

  • You're raising £100k to £5m, now or within the next twelve months

  • You have traction an investor would find genuinely interesting

  • You'd rather be told the truth about your round than be flattered

  • You're willing to do the work, not just attend the sessions

What is it?

A membership for founders raising £100k to £5m. Expert guidance on the route, the collateral and the conversations, plus a quarterly demo day in front of real investors.

Who runs it?

Investment coaches, fundraising operators and investors from across the UK ecosystem, working with you on your raise rather than talking in general terms.

How does it work?

We work out which funding route is actually yours, get your materials and numbers investor ready, then run the raise alongside you.

Where does it happen?

Online and in person at Plughouse, Shoreditch Exchange. Come in when you can, dial in when you cannot. Demo day is in person.

When does it start?

We're opening a limited first intake soon. Waitlist founders hear first and get in ahead of everyone else.

Why does it exist?

Because most founders chase the wrong money in the wrong way, and nobody tells them until the round has already stalled.

How it works

A process, not a spray and pray.

Five steps to get you investment ready, and a sixth to put you in front of the people writing cheques.

STEP 01

Audit

We review your current materials, understand the business model, and find the gaps in how you're approaching the raise.

STEP 02

Understand

A deep dive into your market, your competition and what actually makes you investment-worthy.

STEP 03

Craft

Build a narrative that lands with investors, structured around traction, opportunity and team.

STEP 4

Build

A professional, visually striking deck that communicates the vision clearly and builds investor confidence.

STEP 5

Reach

Strategic outreach and messaging that gets responses, plus how to build your own investor network properly.

STEP 6

Pitch

Quarterly demo day at Plughouse. A room of angels, syndicates and funds, and selected founders on their feet in front of them.

Everything you need to run a proper raise.

Show up to what you need, when you need it. Nothing here is compulsory.

QUARTERLY

demo day

A room of angels, syndicates and funds at Plughouse. Selected founders pitch. Not everyone gets a slot.

ONGOING

Story, numbers & deck

An equity story that lands, a model that stands up to questions, and the collateral investors actually ask for.

WEEKLY

office hours

Open sessions with the bench, online and in person. Bring the deck, the model, the awkward investor email.

WEEKLY

one-to-one clinics

A private slot on your own raise. First come, first served. Leave with the next thing to do.

FORTNIGHTLY

pitch roasts

Your deck and your pitch pulled apart by people who will tell you the truth rather than be polite.

ONGOING

investor pipeline

A real list of the right investors for your route, tracked properly. Not a spreadsheet of everyone on Crunchbase.

YOURS TO KEEP

the full toolkit

Model templates, deck frameworks, data room checklists and investor tracker.

ALWAYS ON

the community

Founders raising at the same time. Who said yes, who ghosted, what terms they were offered. The stuff nobody posts publicly.

A room full of investors, four times a year.

Every quarter we put selected founders in front of angels, syndicates and funds at Plughouse. Not a pitch competition. Not a networking night. A room of people whose job is writing cheques.

Selected, not open
Not everyone who joins gets a slot. The room only stays worth an investor's afternoon if the standard is high.

You'll be ready before you're on stage
Route, story, numbers, deck and pipeline sorted first. Demo day is the end of the process, not the start.

In person at Plughouse
Shoreditch Exchange, in the room, with the wider Plugged founder community around it.
